Product Description

The Mountain Climber, recommended for ages 5 to 12, is an extreme climbing adventure unlike any other that encourages children to steadily inch their way up to the summit, one step at a time. It’s designed to foster social interaction and imaginary play while promoting balance and coordination development, and it also aids in the development of fine motor skills and enhances core strength. Starting at either end, kids place their feet in the lower metal loops and move sideways toward the center. A parallel hand rail gives them a stable place to hold onto as they move, allowing them to maintain their balance. The double-sided Mountain Climber, model number PTC019, can be climbed just as easily from either side, which means that two children can start at either end and race each other to the middle. Multiple children should have no problem using it at the same time. This structure is great for allowing children to feel like daring mountaineers, even though the maximum fall height is only 8 feet. There is even an additional climbing structure on one side for a quicker way up and down from the peak.
