Product Description

The Maximum Series Rectangle Manhole Climber is a metal climbing structure which replaces the straight rungs of a traditional vertical ladder with larger shapes. Although this seems like a fairly small change, it actually has a number of advantages. In addition to making the structure more visually unique, it also makes the ladder easier to climb, and allows it to be climbed from different angles. Since they can step on either side of the rectangle as they climb, they do not have to watch their feet as they climb, and worry about stepping on the middle of the rung. It also places them farther behind the vertical rails, which makes them easier to hold onto while climbing. Each of these rectangular steps has rounded corners, which helps to make it safe for children running around the play structure’s base. The Maximum Series Rectangle Manhole Climber has four steps, which makes it a relatively quick and simple climbing challenge that can be completed by children of all ages.
