The Rectangular Nexus Pedestal Table with Perforated Steel is a large outdoor picnic table that combines a large table space with plenty of comfortable seating. The 8-foot length of the table top is supported by a long metal beam that holds it up in three separate places. The legs of the table are each topped by one of its four seats. The separate seats on each side is a feature unique to the Nexus Pedestal picnic tables, which adds comfort by offering additional space for people’s legs, and allowing them to get up and sit down without others having to get up as well. The perforated steel surface of the table offers more surface area than the diamond pattern model, which helps to prevent small objects from falling through the holes. However, the small circular holes help to keep the surface dry and at a reasonable temperature.
